Abstract
⺠Pkh1 interacts with all three eIF2 subunits and Gcn2 in vitro. ⺠Pkh1 co-immunoprecipitates Gcn2. ⺠Pkh1 can phosphorylate Gcn2 in vitro. ⺠Pkh1 inactivation does not affect eIF2α-S51 phosphorylation or GCN4 translation.
