Abstract
⺠PAK1 activation during influenza A virus (IAV) infection was examined. ⺠IAV propagation corresponded to stimulated PAK1 phosphorylation. ⺠Alteration of PAK1 expression substantially affected virus production in vitro. ⺠PAK1 inhibition consequently suppressed ERK 1/2 phosphorylation and virus production. ⺠PAK1 activation maybe associated with ERK-dependent regulation of IAV replication.
