Abstract

âº Site-specific introduction of arginine analogs into proteins was demonstrated. âº Monomethyl-arginine, citrulline and homoarginine were incorporated into proteins. âº Methylation of R8 and R17 but not R26 suppressed K9 acetylation of histone H3.
