Abstract
⺠mRNA levels of pST3Gal I are increased in PK-15 cells induced by TGF-β1. ⺠TGF-β1 treatment increases the level of glycan structure synthesized by pST3Gal I. ⺠Smad-3 site is crucial for transcriptional activation of pST3Gal I by TGF-β1.
