Abstract
⺠Chloroplastic and mitochondrial SOD and APX from leaf and inflorescence of Chenopodium album showed activity even after boiling temperature treatment. ⺠Chloroplastic and mitochondrial APX isozymes showing activity at boiling temperature are being reported for the first time. ⺠Thermostable SOD and APX in both chloroplast and mitochondria may contribute to heat tolerance in C. album.
