Abstract
⺠We have previously discovered a new class of insect neuropeptides, the RYamides. ⺠These neuropeptides have the C-terminal FFXXXRFamide consensus sequence. ⺠Here, we have identified the insect RYamide receptors from Drosophila and Tribolium. ⺠We have, thus, identified a new neuropeptide signaling system in insects.
