Abstract
⺠Acidification of autophagosome was blunted in steatotic hepatocytes. ⺠Hepatic steatosis did not disturb fusion of isolated autophagosome and lysosome. ⺠Proteinase activity of cathepsin B and L in autolysosomes was inhibited by steatosis. ⺠Hepatic expression of cathepsin B and L was suppressed by steatosis.
