Abstract
► Thirteen cDNAs of dermal peptides were identified in the frog Odorana ishikawae. ► Five peptides were new members of known antimicrobial peptides families in the frogs. ► Eight peptides were novel dermal peptides which have not been identified previously. ► Antimicrobial activities of the novel dermal peptides were assessed against five microorganisms.
