Abstract
⺠Longistatin is less susceptible to SDS-treated platelet lysate. ⺠Longistatin retained 76.73% activity after 3 h of incubation with 20 nM of PAI-1. ⺠Longistatin lysed fibrin clot by activating plasminogen in the presence of PAI-1. ⺠Unlike t-PA, longistatin did not form complex with PAI-1. ⺠Longistatin is a PAI-1 resistant plasminogen activator.
