Abstract
⺠We report the structure of Thermotoga maritima CheB methylesterase domain. ⺠We have compared the structure with the S. typhimurium CheB. ⺠Analysis indicates differing electrostatic surfaces near the catalytic region. ⺠We carry out computational docking using the two respective chemoreceptor structures. ⺠We thereby propose a CheB:chemoreceptor interaction mode.
