Abstract
⺠TNFα, a proinflammatory cytokine, enhances the motility and invasiveness of prostate cancer cells. ⺠TNFα enhances the production of selectin ligands in prostate cancer cells, which results in increased binding to P-, E-, and L-selectins. ⺠TNFα upregulates the expression of selective glycosyl- and sulfotransferase genes involved in the synthesis of selectin ligands.
