Abstract
⺠A new anti-cancer effect of an antibiotics, asperlin, is exploited. ⺠Asperlin induced human cervical cancer cell apoptosis through ROS generation. ⺠Asperlin activated DNA-damage related ATM protein and cell cycle associated proteins. ⺠Asperlin could be developed as a new anti-cancer therapeutics.
