Abstract
► H-ras12V transgenic mice had a significantly higher incidence of hepatic steatosis. ► Expression of H-ras12V in liver elevated ROS levels and accumulation of ApoA-I. ► H-ras12V oncogene contributes to steatosis and in turn promotes liver tumorigenesis.
