Abstract

âº Influence of cyclic stretch on melanogenetic paracrine cytokines was investigated. âº Keratinocyte-derived endothelin-1 was upregulated with cyclic stretch. âº Degree of upregulation increases dose-dependently. âº This upregulation possibly plays a role in the pathogenesis of pigmented disorders.
