Abstract
⺠CaMKIIδA is upregulated in both neonatal and adult cardiac hypertrophy models. ⺠Silencing CaMKIIδA gene blunts cell enlargement and hypertrophic cardiac gene reactivation. ⺠Activation of the HDAC4-MEF2 signaling pathway is inhibited by CaMKIIδA silencing. ⺠Our results provide new evidence for selective interference of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
