Abstract
⺠YFV contains the same substrate motif in all processing sites. ⺠The kcat/km varied by more than two orders of magnitude among then. ⺠Obtained data parallel with those previously obtained in vivo. ⺠Substrates do not co-evolved with protease to promote highly efficient hydrolysis. ⺠Interactions others than on motif are critical in mediating substrate selective.
