Abstract
⺠Gadd34 is induced in liver under starvation conditions. ⺠Gadd34 bind to and dephosphorylated pTSC2 at Thr1462. ⺠Dephosphorylation of TSC2 leads to the suppression of mTOR. ⺠Starvation-induced Gadd34 suppresses mTOR and, thereby, induces autophagy.
