Abstract
⺠This study investigated the neuroprotective effect of T-817MA on tau-related disorders. ⺠Tau abnormalities are implicated in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative tauopathies. ⺠T-817MA, a neuroprotective agent, inhibited the neuronal damages and improved behavioral impairment in the tau transgenic mice. ⺠T-817MA may have a therapeutic potential for tau-related neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.
