Abstract
⺠We examined housekeeping gene expression stability in mouse myogenic cell cultures. ⺠We determined the influence of sex, muscle-type, age and pathology in the housekeeping expression. ⺠The most influencing factor is the age of the donor. ⺠Rn18s gene should be avoided as normalization factor. ⺠The inclusion of two of the genes is enough to create a reliable normalization factor.
