Abstract
⺠Cholesterol synthesis in mouse liver follows a circadian rhythm. ⺠Females have higher levels of cholesterol and post-squalene precursors than males. ⺠Phase differences in Crem-knock-out mice are only significant for dihydrolanosterol.
