Abstract
⺠Membrane-anchorage of Cripto-1 is required for its paracrine activity as a Nodal co-receptor. ⺠Cripto-1 can be intracellularly transferred as a membrane protein. ⺠Expression of Cripto-1 alters physiochemical property of plasma membrane and may enhance intercellular transfer of membrane components.
