Abstract
► Glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs) display elevated invasive capacity in vitro. ► GSCs are more invasive than matched non-stem tumor cells in vivo. ► GSCs increase expression of invasion-associated proteins including L1CAM. ► L1CAM is highly expressed in GSCs and the invasive fronts of glioblastomas.
