Abstract
âºSindbis, an oncolytic virus, causes translational shut-off, and inactivates eIF2α. ⺠Rapamycin, torin1 do not affect replication. ⺠PI3K/Akt/mTOR is not required, and suppressed by infection. ⺠Time dependent virus and drug effects on Akt/mTOR. ⺠mTOR suppression by virus, may counteract drug resistance.
