Abstract

âºSindbis, an oncolytic virus, causes translational shut-off, and inactivates eIF2Î±. âº Rapamycin, torin1 do not affect replication. âº PI3K/Akt/mTOR is not required, and suppressed by infection. âº Time dependent virus and drug effects on Akt/mTOR. âº mTOR suppression by virus, may counteract drug resistance.
