Abstract
⺠Insects have two different genes, coding for two different forms of the neuropeptide CHHamide (named CCHamide-1 and -2). ⺠Drosophila has two different genes, coding for two different GPCRs that are specifically activated by either Drosophila CHHamide-1 or -2. ⺠We have identified two novel neuropeptide signaling systems in insects.
