Abstract
⺠We examined to clarify the repair pathways of formaldehyde-induced DNA damage. Formaldehyde induces DNA double strand breaks (DSBs). ⺠DSBs are repaired through the Fanconi anemia (FA) repair pathway. ⺠This pathway is independent of the FA nuclear core complex. ⺠We also found that homologous recombination repair was induced by formaldehyde.
