Abstract
⺠The effect of MRI on the developing brain is a matter of debate. ⺠Repeated exposure to MRI did not affect neurogenesis. ⺠Memory function was not affected by repeated MRI during development. ⺠Neither late gestation nor young postnatal brains were affected by MRI. ⺠Repeated MRI did not cause cell death in the neurogenic region of the hippocampus.
