Abstract
► The effect of MRI on the developing brain is a matter of debate. ► Repeated exposure to MRI did not affect neurogenesis. ► Memory function was not affected by repeated MRI during development. ► Neither late gestation nor young postnatal brains were affected by MRI. ► Repeated MRI did not cause cell death in the neurogenic region of the hippocampus.
