Abstract
⺠DFO-induced hypoxia increased GSH and HIF-1α levels in hypoxia-surviving neurons. ⺠DFO decreased hMOR gene expression at the transcription level. ⺠The CT element located at the active hMOR promoter partially mediated DFO response.
