Abstract
⺠TNFα stimulates the distal alternative promoter of human apoA-I gene. ⺠TNFα acts by weakening of promoter competition within apoA-I gene (promoter switching). ⺠MEK1/2 and nuclear receptors PPARα and LXRs take part in apoA-I promoter switching.
