Systematic deletion and site-directed mutagenesis of FHVB2 establish the role of C-terminal amino acid residues in RNAi suppression

► N-terminal of FHVB2 protein binds dsRNA to bring RNAi suppression. ► The FHVB2 also interacts with Dicer PAZ domain for RNAi suppression. ► Deletions at N and C-terminii of FHVB2 show role for C-terminal in suppression. ► Point mutations at C-terminal of FHVB2 confirmed its role in RNAi suppression.
