Abstract
⺠RGK proteins inhibit voltage-dependent CaV1 and CaV2 channels. ⺠RGKs use multiple mechanisms and determinants to inhibit CaV1/CaV2 channels. ⺠The mechanisms of channel inhibition are customized for different RGK/CaV channel types. ⺠New functionalities can be engineered into RGKs for practical applications.
