Abstract

âº Surfactant membranes are characterized by ordered/disordered phase coexistence. âº Lateral phase segregation aids surfactant film to attain minimal surface tension. âº Some surfactant inhibitors reduce or abolish phase coexistence. âº These inhibitors interact with surfactant membranes, altering their structure.
