Abstract
⺠α-Synuclein oligomers efficiently permeabilise lipid membranes. ⺠A group of polyphenols and black tea extract can effectively hinder membrane damage. ⺠The 5,7-dihydroxy-chromen-4-one moiety is the likely bioactive core structure.
