Abstract
⺠We studied cell surface binding and cellular uptake of penetratin variants. ⺠Proteoglycans increase uptake of membrane-bound peptide, but not peptide binding. ⺠Arginines increases both affinity and ability to stimulate uptake once a peptide is bound.
