Abstract
⺠Membrane bilayer condition abnormalities following Macrovipera lebetina obtusa and Montivipera raddei snakes envenomation. ⺠Viper venoms disturb the local packing structure of lipids and fluidity of bilayer. ⺠The binding of viper venom proteins to lipid bilayer is strictly curvature-dependent. ⺠Viper venoms demonstrate rather surface activity during BLM-peptide interaction.
