Abstract
⺠Binding of peptides to model membranes was investigated by ITC. ⺠Binding of peptides to lipid vesicles was analyzed at 37 °C. ⺠Binding to zwitterionic membranes is not explained by Gouy-Chapman theory. ⺠Binding to negatively charged model membranes does not result in pore formation. ⺠Membrane destabilization may affect functioning of cytoplasmic membrane proteins.
