Abstract
⺠Apolipophorin III spontaneously solubilizes phosphatidylcholine vesicles. ⺠ITC shows exothermic character of formation of DMPC nanodisks. ⺠Nanodisks are well protected from proteases. ⺠Cholesterol and sphingomyelin stimulate nanodisk formation. ⺠Nanodisk formation is efficient process for PC with acylchains of 14 C or shorter.
