Abstract
⺠PQ changes the equilibrium constant between DMPC gel-like and fluid-like domains. ⺠The dynamic structure and volumetric properties of membranes are affected by PQ. ⺠PQ promotes PC headgroup ordering and PE positive membrane curvature. ⺠Interactions with membranes may play an important role to the PQ mechanism of action.
