Abstract
âºThe toxin α-hemolysin-eGFP is synthesized in a cell-free system. âºThe toxin is expressed in vesicles and on a supported phospholipid bilayer. âºÎ±-hemolysin-eGFP pore formation is studied with a quartz crystal microbalance. âºAdsorption kinetics of the toxin onto the membrane is described. âºPores are visualized by atomic force microscopy.
