Abstract
► Antifungal PUFAs increase unsaturation index of C. albicans and C. dubliniensis membranes. ► Antifungal PUFAs increase intracellular reactive oxygen species. ► Antifungal PUFAs decrease mitochondrial membrane potential, leading to apoptosis. ► We propose this as a mechanism of action of antifungal PUFAs.
