Abstract
⺠Antifungal PUFAs increase unsaturation index of C. albicans and C. dubliniensis membranes. ⺠Antifungal PUFAs increase intracellular reactive oxygen species. ⺠Antifungal PUFAs decrease mitochondrial membrane potential, leading to apoptosis. ⺠We propose this as a mechanism of action of antifungal PUFAs.
