Abstract
⺠Nuclear BRCA1 protein is conjugated with SUMO-2/3. ⺠BRCA1 sumoylation is linked to the cell cycle in a cell line dependent manner. ⺠BRCA1 sumoylation is maximum in G1. ⺠BRCA1 sumoylation is linked to the oxidative stress. ⺠BRCA1-associated proteins are sumoylated and/or contain potential SUMO-binding motifs.
