Abstract

âº We interfered with AnxA1/S100A11 complex formation in HeLa cells âº Delayed EGFR transport to late endosomes and degradation was observed âº This was associated with prolonged EGF-induced EGFR and MAPK signaling âº These cells showed enhanced cell migration and clonogenicity âº We conclude that EGF signal termination is balanced by the AnxA1/S100A11 complex
