Abstract
⺠Vitamin D analog EB1089 decreases gene expression of CYP19A1 in breast cancer cells. ⺠EB1089 dissociates modulator WSTF from the CYP19A1 promoter in a VDR dependent manner. ⺠EB1089 reduces the aromatase activity. ⺠EB1089 is of interest in treatment of endocrine responsive breast cancers. ⺠WSTF is an interesting drug target for new treatments against breast cancer.
