Abstract

âº Enhancing ERK activation reduces repair of ETOP-induced DSBs and DNA-PK activation. âº Inhibition of ERK activation sensitizes these processes. âº ERK reduces DNA-PK-mediated NHEJ. âº ERK facilitates cells to choose whether to repair DSBs via NHEJ.
