Abstract
⺠Polyamines self-assemble with phosphate, both in vivo and in vitro, generating NAP. ⺠NAP have a basic cyclic structure. ⺠The hierarchical growth of NAP generates filamentous structures. ⺠NAP protect DNA and assist its conformational transitions. ⺠NAP/DNA complexes arrange in long and repetitive structures.
