Abstract
⺠The impact of seminal plasma on cervical tumour growth was assessed in vitro. ⺠Seminal plasma induces expression of chemokines in cervical cancer cells. ⺠Chemokines mediated by seminal plasma alter vascular function. ⺠Seminal plasma activates extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK1/2). ⺠ERK1/2 activation is dependent on the epidermal growth factor receptor.
