Abstract

âº Assembly of the mitochondrial intermembrane space requires the MIA pathway. âº MIA drives the accumulation of proteins in the mitochondrial intermembrane space. âº MIA catalyses disulfide bond formation in the precursor proteins. âº The MINOS component regulates MIA-dependent mitochondrial protein biogenesis.
