Abstract
⺠Hsp90 is critically important for the growth of protozoan parasites in their hosts. ⺠Hsp90 of protozoan parasites senses and responds to environmental cues available in their hosts. ⺠Inhibition of Hsp90 abrogates growth of protozoan parasites in their hosts. ⺠Hsp90 from Giardia lamblia is organized as a split gene that undergoes Âtrans-splicing.
