Abstract
⺠Tom34 is a cochaperone of Hsp70 and Hsp90 > Tom34 play a role in the import of mitochondrial preproteins. ⺠Mitochondrial proteins with high degree of hydrophobicity have affinity for Tom34. ⺠A large size cytosolic protein complex is formed with selected newly-synthesized proteins.
