Abstract
⺠PKC α translocates into the nucleus as part of the NF-κB transcription complex. ⺠PKC α binds to pri-miRNA 15a, prevents its nuclear release and maturation to miRNA. ⺠Levels of PKC α and miRNA 15a are inversely related in different human cell lines. ⺠This signalling occurs via endothelin-1 binding to its surface receptors. ⺠miRNA 15a expression is dependent on expression of both endothelin receptors.
