Abstract
⺠Skin dendritic cells (DC) constitutively express Neurotensin (NT) receptors 1 and 3. ⺠NT expression increases under inflammatory conditions in contrast to NTR1 and NTR3. ⺠NT downregulates LPS-induced signaling pathways NF-kB and JNK, while activating ERK. ⺠NT downregulates the expression of IL-6, TNF-α, IL-10 and VEGF, while activating EGF. ⺠NT downregulates the pro-inflammatory properties of DC and increases EGF expression.
